Hartsfield-Jackson's Rental Car Center (RCC)
Grand Opening Sunday, November 1, 2009
What is CONRAC?
The Consolidated Rental Car facility (CONRAC) is what Hartsfield-Jackson engineers and employees have been calling the new rental car center since planning began in 1999. CONRAC is a generic technical term primarily used in the airport industry to describe locating all rental car companies and services in a single location. When the new facility opens, all rental car companies operating in the passenger terminal will move to the rental car center. It will house all customer transaction counters and all vehicles for rental agencies that operate at Hartsfield-Jackson.
Hartsfield-Jackson's RCC Services
How do I get to the new rental car center? · Pick up your checked luggage at the north or south baggage claim area. Follow the overhead signs and hallway placards to the rental car center. Proceed out of the west end of the terminal under the covered walkway. Take the escalator up to the station and board the ATL SkyTrain for the five-minute ride to the rental car center. Go to the rental agency counter of your choice, sign the contract, grab the keys and head out to one of the highly efficient, four-story parking decks to claim the vehicle.
Airport Shuttle Services
Shared Ride/Hotel/Motel Shuttles
There are a number of hotels, motels and inns surrounding Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL). Many provide free shuttle service to and from the Airport.
Hotel shuttle service is available on the Blue Isle outside in the Ground Transportation Center, located at the west end of the building (west curb). The west curb is located outside between the North and South Terminals.
Courtesy phones are available, if you would like the arrival or departure times for your shuttle. We recommend you check with your hotel in advance and inquire if it provides this service. You will notice our courtesy phone boards located inside the Airport near the baggage claim areas for both the North and South Terminals. Courtesy phones can also be found outside in the Ground Transportation Center.
Local Shared-Ride Shuttles
Shared-ride shuttle services are available at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) during flight operating hours. These shuttles provide transportation service to hotels, convention centers, businesses and residences.
Local Shared-Ride shuttles provide service to cities located inside the metropolitan area, while Regional Shared-Ride shuttles service locations outside the Atlanta metro area. Local Shared-Ride shuttles run approximately 15 minutes apart, while Regional Shared-Ride shuttles depart every 30 minutes to an hour.
Most shared-ride shuttles pick up and drop off on the Green Bus Aisle, which is located outside in the Ground Transportation Center between the North and South Terminals. We recommend that you contact the company directly to make reservations or for inquiries.
The Atlanta Link Shuttle is our provider for shuttle service exclusively to the Downtown, Midtown & Buckhead areas. For shuttle service outside of these areas, please refer to our Local Shared-Ride Shuttles Providers section for Local Shared-Ride Shuttles
