Facelift
Today’s Facelift recreates a younger looking version of you without the tight-pulled look of years past. Men and women of all ages and stages are having their faces rejuvenated using one - or a combination of today’s more advanced facelift options. Today we have newer and better techniques that ensure a tension free – natural looking appearance while turning back the clock several years. Patients now understand that if they do a little cosmetic surgery in their 40’s, it can save them from more drastic overhauls in their 50’s and 60’s. However, a traditional facelift, or Rhytidectomy, is the only effective way to deal with excessive sagging skin and loss of muscle tone in the lower two-thirds of the face. If there is significant aging, you can’t just focus on one area of the face and expect to make a big difference. So, this is why many people choose to do a facelift in concert with other age-erasing facial procedures, such as a NeckLift and Eyelid Surgery. Dr. Cole performs a facelift procedure that has been greatly modified and improved to rejuvenate the face.
BENEFITS OF FACELIFT: (Rhytidectomy)
- Facelift surgery rejuvenates the face & restores facial balance & harmony
- Facelift surgery removes excess skin in the neck, jowls & cheek
- Facelift surgery restores underlying tissue to a more youthful position
- Facelift surgery is individualized to your specific needs & desired results
FACELIFT PROCEDURE:
After Dr. Cole has made the appropriate incisions he will work through these to tighten and lift muscles, remove excess skin and/or redistribute and sculpt fat to restore volume that has been lost, redrape the skin and close the incisions. Your head will be wrapped in soft gauze and drain tubes will be left in place. Facelift surgery takes several hours depending upon the extensiveness and other procedures you are having done with it. Swelling, bruising, numbness and some discomfort are normal and to be expected for 1-2 weeks.
