Aging in the middle face shows up as your eyes look hollow and your cheeks appear to be sunken. Marionette lines and nasolabial folds add to the problem as your cheek fat pads begin their descent south. You may even develop an angry look as the muscle between your eyes changes and smile lines deepen. Dr. Cole recommends a Mid-Face/Cheek Lift surgery to patients who want to rejuvenate the mid-face and achieve the longest lasting results. Mid-Face & Cheek Lift surgery refreshes and rejuvenates with results that are more permanent than injectables – and more subtle than a traditional Face Lift.
BENEFITS OF MIDFACE & CHEEK LIFT SURGERY:
- MidFace/CheekLift is safe, effective, simple & subtle
- MidFace/CheekLift restores sagging cheeks to their natural youthful position
- MidFace/CheekLift helps to correct hollow eye appearance
- MidFace/CheekLift can be performed as early as your 30’s
- MidFace/CheekLift using advanced techniques require little downtime
- MidFace/CheekLift results are visible sooner than with traditional FaceLift
- MidFace/CheekLift is often combined with other anti-aging facial procedures
A Mid-Face Lift softens the crease between the nose and mouth and lifts the cheek pad to smooth eyelid bags and dark circles.
MID-FACE & CHEEK LIFT PROCEDURE:
After you’re sedated, Dr. Cole will make small incisions above the ear - inside the hairline and inside the mouth over the cheekbone. Working through these incisions – using an endoscope - he will lift and tighten muscles and reposition the cheek fat pads back to their youthful position. The External Correction Process typically used for men involves a small incision just below the lower-lid eyelashes. When you wake up your head will be wrapped in a soft bulky dressing. Some swelling, bruising, under-eye numbness and muscle weakness is normal and to be expected for a few days. Oral pain medication easily manages this discomfort.
