Endoscopic Browlift (Forehead Lift)

As the face ages - the skin becomes less resilient causing unattractive furrows and lines.  Relentless, perpetual dynamic gravity forces the aging eyebrows and forehead to gradually descend.  As the brow falls it pushes redundant skin into the upper eyelid and causes the eyes to look crowded while the brow takes on a heavy – thickened look and creases set in between the brows. This can lead to an angry look or a scowl even when you don’t feel that way.  Many women have trouble putting on mascara or other eye makeup.

Today, people are more tuned in to the aging process, the options available to turn back the clock and are starting these procedures at younger ages (40’s) to keep looking young.  Today’s facelift procedures are safer, more advanced and achieve more natural looking results.  Dr. Cole recommends the Endoscopic BrowLift/ Forehead Lift to patients of all ages – who want to retain a youthful look or who desire rejuvenation of the brow and forehead area.  An Endo BrowLift/Forehead Lift helps alleviate sagging through a minimally invasive procedure with little downtime.

BENEFITS OF ENDOSCOPIC BROWLIFT/FOREHEAD LIFT

  • Endo Brow/Forehead Lift rejuvenates the eyebrow & forehead area
  • Endo Brow/Forehead Lift smoothes out wrinkles, crow’s feet & creases
  • Endo Brow/Forehead Lift alleviates sagging skin in the upper face
  • Endo Brow/Forehead Lift is minimally invasive with little downtime
  • Endo Brow/Forehead Lift achieves a relaxed, more youthful appearance

ENDOSCOPIC BROW/FOREHEAD LIFT PROCEDURE:
Dr. Cole will make four tiny - well concealed incisions hidden in the hairline. Using the endoscope, he works through these incisions and beneath the skin to adjust and stabilize the forehead. This involves altering (relaxing) and rejuvenating portions of muscles that contribute to wrinkles. The results are a more youthful, relaxed appearance and restored balance to the upper face and eye area.

BROWLIFT FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

Are There Limitations To What A Forehead/BrowLift Can Achieve?
YES.  This lift treats only the upper one-third of the face and cannot improve the lower two-thirds of the face and neck – which are effectively treated with a FaceLift/NeckLift.

Who Is A Good Candidate For Endo Brow/Forehead Lift?
Any man or woman who is in otherwise good health and who desires to rejuvenate the upper one-third of the face could be an ideal candidate for Dr. Cole’s Endoscopic Browlift and Forehead Lift. Patients as young as forty choose to have this rejuvenative procedure.

What Type Of Anesthesia Is Used?
Local anesthesia combined with sedation is typically used.

Are There Scars After An Endoscopic Brow/Forehead Lift?
YES.  There are scars associated with any surgical procedure however, Dr. Cole places the incisions inconspicuously in well hidden areas – so scars are not noticeable and fade over time.

What Is Recovery Like After Dr. Coles Endo-Brow/Forehead Lift?
This is a much less invasive surgery than a traditional facelift – so swelling, bruising and discomfort are much less.  Oral pain medication and cold compresses easily manage the discomfort you will experience for just a few days while healing progresses. You will need to sleep and rest with your head elevated for several days/nights and avoid all strenuous activity until told otherwise.  Bruising fades within 2-3 weeks and Jane Iredale Mineral makeup is a wonderful camouflage in the meantime – plus it encourages healing.

How Long Before I Will Be Able To Return To Work?
Most of Dr. Cole’s patients are presentable and able to return to work within 7-10 days.

Will Insurance Cover Endoscopic Browlift/Forehead Lift Surgery?
NO.  Insurance does not cover cosmetic procedures – but financing is available today so ask about it in our business office.
