RESTYLANE PROCEDURE:
Restylane is injected into the skin, using a very fine needle, and much expertise. There is minimal discomfort associated, but local anesthetic can be used if needed and desired. Some patients experience minimal swelling and bruising at the injection sites that resolves on its own in a couple of days. This is a procedure than can be performed during your lunch hour and normal activity resumed right after your treatment.

What is Restylane Made Of?
Restylane is formulated from hyaluronic acid which is a naturally occurring substance in our bodies. Hyaluronic Acid (HA) is one of the components required in keeping the skin healthy. HA attracts and binds to water to keep the skin hydrated, plump, healthy and fresh looking. Our ability to manufacture our own HA decreases with age. Replacing it with Restylane helps the body perform it’s normal function – naturally.
How Is Restylane Made?
Restylane is made from a crystal clear gel called NASHA (Non Animal Stabilized Hyaluronic Acid) and it is bio-degradable. It is completely compatible with our own body components and is identical to the natural substances produced by our bodies.
How Does Restylane Work?
Restylane integrates into the dermal tissues where it attracts and binds water molecules. This helps to maintain volume in the skin thus preventing lines, wrinkles and grooves from forming.
What Makes Restylane Longer Lasting?
It is cross-linked which means strands are chemically bound to each other causing the body to take longer to break them down, which allows your results to last longer.
How Long Does Restylane Last?
