LIP AUGMENTATION PROCEDURE:
If you are having an injectable filler, the injections are done using a very fine needle and pre-measured doses that are injected into pre-targeted areas. If implants are used – a small, inconspicuous incision is placed inside the mouth and the implant is inserted. There is some swelling, bruising and soreness with any procedure, but these resolve in a few days on their own.

Local and topical anesthetic is normally all that is needed and works very well.
How Long Does Lip Augmentation Procedure Take?
Injections take only a few minutes while implants and fat grafting take longer – up to two hours.
Is Lip Augmentation Painful?
There is some discomfort associated with any injection. Dr. Cole is an expert injector and minimizes discomfort for his patients. More extensive procedures employ local and/or topical anesthetic to handle discomfort.
How Much Down-Time Is Involved With Lip Augmentation?
Dr. Cole’s patients typically return to work in a couple of days after injection procedures. More extensive procedures may involve 5-7 days before your feel presentable.
Does Insurance Cover Lip Augmentation?
Insurance does not cover cosmetic procedures, however there is financing available today. Ask about it in our business office.
BOARD CERTIFICATION
Dr. Cole is a quadruple board certified surgeon which means he has met the rigorous high standards and training requirements of four medical boards. This involved several years more of specialized training and experience in all four areas – in addition to medical school, internships, residencies, fellowship training and vast experience. Board certification does not guarantee a certain outcome, but it does ensure specialized training skill and expertise far beyond the norm.
