Evolence
Evolence injectable dermal filler is a breakthrough anti-aging product that replaces the collagen you’ve lost with collagen that lasts. Evolence smoothes out and softens wrinkles and folds, restores structure and facial contour and rejuvenates your face – immediately. Collagen is one of the most prevalent materials in our body. As we age, our own collagen production slows down and signs of facial aging appear as lines, wrinkles, folds and creases develop. Evolence is effective for correcting mid to deep dermal problems and can be a “lunchtime” treatment with no downtime.

ABOUT COLLAGEN:
Collagen is nature’s most fundamental and abundant building block making up from 70% to 80% of the skin’s dermis. Collagen is the most common protein found in the body and is what comprises the framework to support cell and tissue growth. Collagen provides structure – strength and support for the skin. As we age, collagen naturally depletes leading to a tired or aged appearance visually seen as unwanted lines, wrinkles, folds and creases. Other factors such as sun exposure, genetics, hormonal changes and smoking can accelerate the depletion of collagen and encourage pre-mature aging. SELPHYL is a dermal filler, made of natural collagen, that is used to safely and effectively replace that which is lost by the body.
SELPHYL PROCEDURE:
Dr. Cole or his nurse injector uses a tiny needle and pre-measured doses that he injects into pre-targeted areas of facial tissue. The formulation is injected midway or deep into the skin – beneath the wrinkle or fold. A treatment takes only a few minutes or longer depending upon your personal treatment plan. Most of Dr. Cole’s patients return to work or normal activity following treatment. Discomfort is minimal and bruising and swelling at the injection sites is normal and resolves in a few days. Mineral/camouflage makeup easily covers any bruising while healing takes place.
SELPHYL FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
What Is Evolence?
Evolence is a novel breakthrough dermal filler for treating the effects of aging by replacing collagen that you’ve lost with a natural collagen made of highly refined porcine collagen.
How Long Does Evolence Last?
Evolence normally lasts for at least six months.
Where Is Evolence Used?
Evolence is recommended for moderate to deep facial wrinkles and folds. Nasolabial folds and smile lines are ideally treated with Evolence.
Is Skin Testing Required Before Evolence Treatments?
NO. Studies showed that reactions to Evolence are rare – and if they do occur are very mild. Skin Testing therefore is not required.
How Can I Benefit From Evolence Injections?
If you want a soft, supportive foundation to fill areas where you have natural collagen loss – Evolence could benefit you.
How Does Evolence Collagen Filler Work?
We lose collagen as we age because collagen production slows down. Evolence works by replacing the collagen we lose with a natural porcine collagen that fills in places where our own collagen is lost.
How Are The Injections Done?
Evolence is injected beneath the wrinkles or folds in your face using a very fine needle and precise, pre-measured doses. The injections are made into pre-targeted areas according to your personalized treatment plan.
Do Evolence Injections Hurt?
Some discomfort may be associated with any injection. Dr. Cole and his nurse are expert injectors who know how to perform injections in order to minimize discomfort. A local anesthetic may be used if desired or needed.
Will Insurance Pay For Evolence Treatments?
NO. Insurance does not normally cover cosmetic procedures. Financing is available today for cosmetic procedures – so ask about this in our business office.
