Dear Dr. Cole,

I know that letter writing is a thing of the past, but how else could you see that these words come from my heart.

I take pride in surrounding myself with the finest doctors in the city. It takes time to find someone who is competent, kind, has a great staff, and truly cares about me as a person and not a dollar sign. I found all of these qualities in you.

It has taken me years of searching for a team of experts you can trust and make you feel safe and well-cared for. When you turn 50, everything starts breaking down and you better find those doctors quick! You know, you work for us and not the other way around. So, I have had to find a few along the way.

I have known a lot of doctors and I can truthfully say, you are at the top of the list. From our first encounter, I knew you were somebody very special. I felt an immediate trust and ease about you. You made me feel comfortable. You always have a smile on your face, take time to listen, and your demeanor surpasses any of your colleagues. You are a very special human being.

I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping me cope with a difficult situation. I am the kind of person who always pays bills on time and never asks for an easy way out. The fact that you understood my grievance and so generously agreed to end a financial nightmare for me speaks volumes. Who does things like that? The answer is easy. You do! I hope you will still want me as a patient. If my eyelids ever start retracting, you will be the first person I call. Thank you again.
