Staff of Oculus

Oculus staff - Ashley

Ashley is a true Michigander--but the warmer climate and appeal of the South brought her to Atlanta. With her BS in Health Administration she was a certain match for the Oculus team. Initially, Ashley worked as a billing and insurance coordinator, making sure patient accounts were managed and billed correctly. Her exceptional work performance and educational background - major in health administration and minor in business administration prepared her very well for her future role she has assumed as practice administrator. As Practice Administrator, Ashley bears much responsibility for making things work for the entire staff and physicians as well as all of our Oculus patients. The constant daily demands require strong administrative capabilities in many areas as well as efficiency. "I find each day rewarding as well as challenging. It is a privilege to work alongside so many professionals - staff and physicians." Ashley’s role is vital to the overall function of a good medical environment – and her expertise plays a critical role in the success of our practice – everyday at Oculus.

Jennifer's primary responsibility is as a patient advisor, scheduling appointments and registering patients. Beyond that she should also be called “transition advisor” because that is precisely what she does. The temporary bruising, swelling and minor scarring following facial surgery can be minimized and camouflaged in Jennifer’s capable hands. “I am looking forward to being part of every patient’s healing process. You can’t just pop back into public after surgery. Our practice has designated a special secluded area where I can give one on one care including instructions on how to apply their cosmetics when they get home.” Jennifer has spent over 10 years working in the cosmetics industry and attended yearly training sessions dedicated to trends and techniques. “Even if a patient has long since recovered from their surgery, I can help them choose the correct combination of products to highlight their best features and bring out their natural beauty.
